By using CoParentSplit, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
CoParentSplit is an expense tracking application designed for co-parents. It allows users to log shared child-related expenses, calculate balances, generate reports, and collaborate with a co-parent. The service is provided as a Progressive Web App accessible via web browser.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use CoParentSplit. Each person should have only one account.
CoParentSplit offers a free tier with limited features and paid Premium plans ($6.99/month or $59.99/year) per co-parenting pair. Only one parent in a pair needs to subscribe for both to access Premium features. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the app settings. Upon cancellation, you retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free tier. No refunds are provided for partial months.
You agree to use CoParentSplit only for its intended purpose of tracking co-parenting expenses. You may not use the service for harassment, threats, or any unlawful purpose. You are responsible for the accuracy of the expense data you enter. CoParentSplit is not a legal or financial advisory tool.
You retain ownership of all data you enter into CoParentSplit, including expense records and uploaded receipts. By using the service, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your data as needed to provide the service. We will not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
CoParentSplit is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or inaccuracies in calculations. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.
CoParentSplit is not a substitute for legal advice, mediation, or court-ordered expense tracking systems. The balances and reports generated are for informational purposes only and may not be legally binding. Consult with a family law attorney for legal matters.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless required by law to retain it.
